At least there's a little culpability finally being exhibited by the mod at the Official John Fogerty Forum.

Too bad this person didn't have enough control to handle the situation in December that brought about the need for this here Fogerty's Funky Funny Farm blog.

Here's the latest high-minded "Announcement" ...

Though I'll take some of the blame for not enforcing this...I ask that all members please refrain from excessive use of foul language. Especially when it amounts to berating/abusing another member.

Abusive language from this point on could merit a warning (remember, you all only get one from now on). So, please try to keep it clean.

Examples of foul language will be reviewed on a case by case basis - so, please don't bombard me with emails/PM's demaning that I ban every single member who curses.

Consider this a challenge - be more creative with your language, instead of relying on the boring curse words we all love and know.

And for the tattle-tails out there: Excessive, unfounded complaints could very well earn you a warning as well. I consider it harrassment of the moderator.

Allowing a moderator to arbitrarily enforce whatever they damn well please really places John Fogerty in poor light.

Harassment of the moderator?

Oh the poor pitiful life of the moderator.
